Resistance is futile!
I'm a late-comer to electronics - which is strange given my late father, Michael GC Taylor, was the somewhat celebrated electronics engineer responsible for the first single-piece telephone - GTE's "FlipFone" - in the early 1980s.
My interest started around 2017 when I began converting Singer Sewing Machines lids into Bluetooth speakers for friend and family - and then sold a few. A few years later the pandemic was upon us, and having more spare time (I wasn't commuting to work any more) I started building, modifying and repairing guitar pedals, circuit-bending old Casio and Yamaha keyboards, and building oscillators and step sequencers from scratch.
