Never knowingly understood

The thoughts, musings and creative exploits of a try-hard generalist and accidental technologist.
Thanks for stopping by.

James Cook, who ran the stand-up comedy course I attended, recommends a whole bunch of great books on the subject of comedy and I thought I'd share them below ...

I'm a late-comer to electronics - which is strange given my late father, Michael GC Taylor, was the somewhat celebrated electronics engineer responsible for the first single-piece telephone - GTE's "FlipFone" - in the early 1980s.

I've been into photography since my I was in short trousers using my mum's Agfamatic 110 film camera back in the late 70s and early 80s.

About me

My name is Rob Dunsford and I'm a coder by day, and a singer-songwriter, guitarist, electronics tinkerer, circuit-bender, photographer and proud dad of four the rest of the time.

I was born at a very young age in Broxburn near Edinburgh, Scotland.

My first memories are of Laddie, our black labrador, licking ice-cream off my face, riding a bike with stabilisers and helping paint the fence. But that's enough about the dog - this website is supposed to be about me!
